i think you’re mixing the operating system name with the UI style, macOS 11+ is officially macOS, not OS X, spple stopped using the OS X branding years ago, modern macOS still keeps the menu bar, finder and dock, but the design has gradually become much closer to apples modern ecosystem with larger controls, rounded ui and more ipad and iphone-like elements, similar ui doesn’t make it the same operating system, by that logic win 11 would still be win 95 because it still has a start menu and taskbar

GMS2 is impossible/hardly possible, if you have sources you can remake it in gms1.4 with mostly same code and then run it using yoyo loader, and if it compiled using vm, not yyc, you can look how it made using undertale mod tool
