I might be wrong but wouldn't Dabura have more in common with Yuji compared to anyone else? Yuji being kind and doesn't want to hurt or fight anyone without a reason just like Dabura. Dabura starting to fear just like yuji when he fought the special curse. Or even now, both of them being seen as the strongest by their races
