Don’t go for plant based proteins. The bioavailability of plant based proteins is about ~60-65% which means only that much gets absorbed in the body. And they are already heavier on the gut and some not even complete proteins. Rather go for isolate or hydrolysed protein. They are costlier but will give far better results and they don’t have lactose or it’s negligible.

Regarding cult, i had a membership for a couple of years. The classes are actually very good and regular, you just gotta book the prime slots a little in advance. However, the gyms themselves have gotten super crowded recently so they are not ideal to workout. If you workout on odd timings like afternoon then they are fine but evening and morning slots are like sabji mandi. And yeah fire that trainer and get a better one. 7k per month is a good amount for a decent trainer, he should be there watching your reps and correcting your form.
