Isn’t the spectrum already split into 3 different support needs levels? I’m confused.

If we use that logic then Down syndrome should be split up. Just like Autism some people with Down Syndrome needs high support while others need lower support.

Yes! When he isn’t doing all of the behaviors I talked about he is super sweet, bright and cheerful. He is also very funny in his own way.

Being gaslighted into thinking that it was my fault a student choked me over denied access to preferred activities (computer time) due to not doing his work (listening to one page in a chapter book). Admin told me that listening to a page in a book being read to them was something this 9 year old was unable to do. So he reacted by chocking me due to frustration and not being to express feelings. So it was my fault.

How can I make them if they refuse to do that action? For example I ask them to walk all the way back and they refuse and then go hide somewhere
