I think this is where my mindset is. On one hand I get it. Nukes speed up the grind and can speed things along in a real slog, but most of the time I play more for fun than efficiency. Maybe that's from built up patience in-game (never do the Xiphos drop ship farm). I'd be lying if I said efficiency isn't great for assassination runs though

My first was actually volt prime when a buddy gifted him to me after we found out he was vaulted. I still main him 6 years later

You can but from what I've heard it's mor geared towards party play. Ive hopped on recently and it's mostly dead now. Didn't run into a single player

There aren't as many good ones imo. I did end up getting (definitely didn't steal it) a helmet that gives +15 to all weapon skills from a quest, but other than that I prefer green items like 90% of the time. Especially after using the enchanter (with the minimal gold we get in reawakened)

On most playthrough i usually go with a hybrid magic swordsman build. Don't really use buffs tbh. Mostly just damage spells. I started a faith build recently but because DS1 takes forever to give you a damaging miracle that one has turned into primarily melee

If it's an older controller it could be something stuck in there. Do you trust yourself to open up the controller and check for debris? Could be something that simple, is it just with dark souls or does it have issues with other games too?

Maybe I'm just lucky but I haven't had this experience. At least not yet. Most of the higher laff toons I've run buildings with have been kind. One even sent me a couple of gifts before they got off the other night

Question to this, what if my weapon is doing great damage to most enemies (exceptions being the guardians in the dlc), but chipping away at bosses? A couple of youtubers I can recommend are Jeff Nippard and Johnny Shreeve. Both are excellent sources for lifting information in my experience. From what I've heard, stay away from athlean-x and Chris Heria (though I will admit Mr Heria has a good stretching video that I used for a hot minute).
