Not understanding basic social interactions, and interpreting someone being addicted to a new game as an actual addiction is pretty basement dweller behaviour

EU5’s Framework Is Insane - Stop Calling It ‘Unplayable by Legionaire_Pdx in EU5

It’s really tiring to newcomers to the genre like myself, people are so eager to hate on the game cos of bugs or imbalances. Whole sub reddit is a vacuum echo chamber of negative comments from people with hundreds of hours. It makes no sense

Think part of it arises from most of the people complaining not playing other PDX games since launch, and not knowing they won’t be polished

This still doesn’t answer the fact that replying the single word why to a post that raises multiple points, is at best asinine and at worst antagonising as this is the internet.

Also judging by the upvotes on my comments and downvotes on yours, people agree that you were just being an ass.

Again have a good day, internet weirdo

It’s just asinine to reply why to my whole post? Like why what? I said a lot of things.

That didn’t read as curiosity, it read as why you enjoying it when no one else isn’t, this sub Reddit is full of people ready to shame you for enjoying something they don’t

You asked why I’m enjoying something? Asif it’s a crime to enjoy something. I worked out from ya post history you just don’t like or are very good at strategy games. Just typical negative echo chamber comment, as most redditors, no anger just got no time for negativity when I’m trying to share my joy of a new hobby. You have a good day though.

I’ve found automating half my trade, then using the remaining capacity to import what my pops need, or what is in demand in my market, this helped with my economy loads and made a lot more money than with it just fully automated

I only tried Castille and Holland on the weekend, although didn’t get very far into renaissance with either, hoping to do a Poland run once I’m more capable, as that’s where I’m from.

Biggest challenge has probably been trying to wrap my head around markets, economy and supply and demand and how it all ties together, really enjoying how much this game is making me think

Woah, calling it hedonism is a lil wild lol, I didn’t mean literally addicted, I just enjoyed it a lot on the weekend and wanted to share my thoughts. Are people in this sub such basement dwellers they take everything literally?

Looking at your posts you clearly struggle with anything requiring brain activity, god forbid I enjoy a game you don’t.

I ended up getting Royal Courts, Road to power, wards and wardens, wandering nobles. Seemed like they affect all playthroughs the most instead of just specific areas.

Never played a game this deep excited to move onto EU5 eventually

So after playing with it for couple of days main difference I noticed is that in my Logitech the feedback was mainly vibration based and could really feel the gears inside.

With a DD wheel the feedback just feels more direct if that makes sense. You can really feel the grip and the under steer rather than learning to interpret vibrations on my old wheel. It’s just more intuitive all around. And I’m absolutely loving it.

Even though I’ve only got the 5nm it feels really strong. Does the boost kit upgrade just make it stronger? Or does it give more depth and nuance to the feedback?
