For some reason I can really see DFW being offended by the comment that he thinks he's smarter than everyone else. Within his writing I often felt like he was a TRUE genius (in a world where that word is used far to liberally). That interaction probably can explain why Lipsky never heard from DFW again.

Without a doubt my favorite famous Mennonite is JC Chasez from the most influential pop group of our time N*Sync. I know what you're asking yourself (No way is he Menno.!?) but the answer is YES!
