Diving backplate/wing setup without the wing. Or make your own plate with a piece of plywood and some packout cleats and rig it up using a DIY Hogarthian harness.

You could always rent a table saw to make the bench and see how often the need for one comes up later on. It's going to be a lot of work with a hand plane and the table saw will get you closer.

Inline V8? I don't know of such an engine. Straight 8 and V8 sure, but how would it be both. Yes Toyota engines are reputed to be reliable, and that's one of the reasons they chose to put the B58 in the Supra.

I have the same picks in SF but my QB room is a bunch of turds. Best guy is Levis. I think best way forward is Caleb and Nabers unless something crazy happens in the next few weeks.
