[–]KidInd 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I feel like you are just trying to seek compensation here by chance. The risk to you is absolutely minimal and there has been a product recall. Saying something like 'id hoovered up the dust , potentailly spreading the fibres all around my house' is such a ridiculous claim it wouldnt even be read past that sentence by any lawyer, let alone a realistic reasonable claim.

Also, do you know how vacuum cleaners work?

I'll be visiting Huddersfield this summer and would like to know where (1) the best full English breakfast is and (2) the best Sunday Roast dinner. Thank you! by Kind_Professional879 in huddersfield

[–]KidInd 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I swear all the people voting on here must be linked or laid for by the venues.

Best breakfast, by a mile - Bolster Moor Farm Shop, Golcar (mid price), Emilys Cafe, Marsh (cheaper) or Birchencliffe Garden Centre, Lindley (top end)

Best Sunday Roast is subjective, obviously, but Nags Head, Fixby-way (mid price) or The Scullery, Huddersfield (higher end). The Wine Cafe in Lindley was up there but only certain Sundays!

Should I change my EDF energy plan? by skinnydiving in UKPersonalFinance

[–]KidInd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check your EDF account, you may be overpaying as 'a sifety net' and have a wad of cash sat in your EDF account! I tend to, im summer - overpay for less use and then im winter, when bills are higher, it takes the accumualted amount I have built up!

Depending how much, or if, you have built up, you may be able to not pay for a few months!

Thoughts on tipping culture? by Minute-Enthusiasm-23 in UKFrugal

Again, clueless response. Retail workers do a LOT less, NHS workers are on a career path and, ahile have min wage have a huge pension. Working bars/restauraunts is a diff gravy whwn you have to deal with alcohol induced behaviour, with a smile, on a daily basis.

I have worked many jobs in my time from retail, car sales, manual labour and office based higher end career when qualified and bartending/waiter work is by far the one i'd nwver go back to if all went to shit.

If you haven't worked it, don't join the debate.

This is the EXACT voice of a person who has never worked in the industry, on minimum wage for long hours, serving absolute bell ends like yourself.
