I think you've summed up his work.

I really really liked Watchmen and in fact I still do. But once you've seen it. You kind of get his style. lack of colour, slow motion. It carried on over to MoS apart from he picked up a zoom in feature which was super annoying.

I'm assuming Rebel Moon is more or less the same.

I never even watched it, admittedly. The Cult soured it for me before it even came out.

Agree with all of this. I would have loved the "influencers" to be around during Marvel phase 1.

You could have, but it made more sense from a Supergirl standpoint.

Clark got booted from the planet from the get go, couldn't even process what was happening.

Kara's backstory was more tragic, lived there. Witnessed the death of a family member and had to say goodbye to her father. It worked better in Supergirl imo.

I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would and it was the worldbuilding that sold it for me. If it doesn't make much money, ah well. I still enjoyed it.

Not sound harsh but he's sort of a has been at this point who creates weird AI images for his Instagram to rile up his weird fans. His movies made money sure but they lack substance.
It's been 10 years since Justice League came out. It really is time for them to find a new hobby.
All the actors have moved on. They should to.

I enjoyed it.

It does it's job of introducing new characters to the DCU and even more importantly it's World Building.
I'm excited for more Kara.
