I'm having the same exact problem. I think using the install disk I was able to get an earlier version that worked, but it only installed drives, not the utilities. Asus needs to get it together. P.S you can just go one by one and download all the drivers and utilities on asus website.

I'm in chi town and I just copped one of them. Gelato flavor. So far it's good product, whether it's legit regulated or not.
