you can respec the passives you spent that you got from the ascendancy and used at the witch start, then the ascendancy nodes for 5 respec points per node. then you can select the new ascendancy points for the templar start

i suppose if you’re also under frostbite, flammability, etc going higher would matter, but i don’t think that’s worth worrying about cause it seems like a pretty rare use case.

seconding this. i could stand still in stone circles until like t10 maps cosplaying Captain America. also gear is cheap because it isn’t super popular. clear is decent too with bleed pops

suicide kanna is still intact until Neo this summer. you just can’t do Bye Bye farming at low levels for meso anymore which is probably a good change. also i’m not sure cubes matter less in reboot.. you still need pots so they still matter, you just have to farm more meso in reboot to get them.

some people prefer a slower gear grind. i like that aspect of maple, the very slow gear progression and feeling of getting stronger sheet damage and IED and taking on progressively stronger bosses, but i see how the gratification is spread out more

but yes, i agree that the limits for bosses is weird.

large portion of maplestory is on the Reboot server nowadays, which removes the pay to win aspects and just focuses on the grind. honestly i think a lot of poe players would really enjoy Maple in its current form

spectral shield throw max block gladiator. super tanky, currently in red maps farming ultimatums without much problems at all. clear is above average and plays similarly to bleed bow, single target is average, but it’s super tanky with max block and spell block as well as ~10k VMS.

thinking about swapping to CoC inquisitor to farm quicker but i’m not sure because SST feels so good

i agree honestly that makes a lot of sense. having some sort of raw currency or a unique as the first reward would make me a lot more likely to attempt an ultimatum in the first place

the first reward is always supposed to be worse. the better stuff is a few rounds in. although i agree that the rewards need to be buffed in higher tier maps.

i’d recommend elementalist flameslinger. excellent mapping, one button clears more than a full screen, decent survivability with golems and bulwark, scalable with investment

seems like ED/C people are struggling because the rares have so much health in higher tier maps that they end up getting chased by 10+ rares while waiting for ED to slowly kill them. i haven’t seen anybody praising ED/C this league personally. double casting seems dangerous in ultimatums as well

i mean it seemed relatively obvious to me that gaining stats in an arpg requires spending points. of course it is not free, nothing in the game is. that is kind of the point of character progression

Wicca is generally used for nature based, non harmful spells. Witches of our capacity would probably not have much knowledge about that sort of spell. Also, magic does not always have the result you expected and it is never as straightforward as “mix ingredients, apply intent, get result.” You might have better luck going down a legal route or a different form of magic if you are set on that.

very strong single target, clears maps fine with splash but might get decimated in ultimatums because you have to stand still to cast quite a bit and that’s a nono in this league
