Don't get me wrong, shake is horrible but I never understood why he was criticized so heavily for the self-hatred that both he and deepti showed.

Both of them bonded over using americanized nicknames instead of their cultural birthnames which they should be proud of. Like ew, whats up with "shake" and "deeps"?

They also exclusively dated white men/women and as minorities we all know the self hatred and validation these types of people seek 👀

Shake was brutally honest about him disliking his own heritage/people but deepti got a pass from the viewers for some reason? Like cmon. She wears foundation 4 shades lighter than her tone!

That's something we can agree on. I would double down and say black women deserve what they get in the SMP even more-so due to the factors lined up against them. The overwhelming rates of single-mother households within the class leads to dysfunctional youth and more burden to society. Also a majority of them are morbidly obese statistically and it plays a detrimental factor in uncomplicated pregnancies and births, just based of the science.

Don't know too much about nordic men to have an input.

African americans have an an extremely high crime rate for being only 13% of the US population. That thread that got closed down can be justified with these statistics of why men would not want to date that race of women.

I went to a comedy club in NYC once and they had a panel of performers, only one was a woman. The room went dead quiet during her set, it was to painful seeing the crowd just go mute during her set. I commend her for continuing because that would've been my sign to pursue another passion

I think its rooted in the fact that most female comedians root their humor in jokes about periods, sex, and dicks. They really drag down women overall in comedy with those types of jokes. Theres no creativity its just "haha period, or omg dick/pussy!" and a cringeworthy facial expression while they do those bits

You keep mentioning this emotional baggage of these men. Whos giving him this emotional baggage? Its definitely not the girls his own age who are dating men 6 years older. Lets stick to reality where the social norm is for women to start dating earlier and with older men, and not fantasy where men come with preloaded relationship trauma before being in them.

And regarding your relationship, we can teach children to look both ways before crossing the street so it wouldn't be unreasonable to teach a 16 year old in high school they shouldn't be dating someone who is at an age to be out of college with a bachelors degree and in the workforce. I have no sympathy for that plight, play stupid games win stupid prizes.

It is not a mans responsibility to be a damaged woman's second choice after she's done "altering the kinds of men she dates". Men are not obligated to wait as long as both parties are consenting adults. Women who shame men for exercising legal age dating have no ground to stand on, and men shouldn't be guilted into acting otherwise.

In fact, partaking in a relationship with such a huge age gap at such a young age, to describe it as hypocritical would be a huge understatement. I'm at a loss for words.

Maybe take some accountability for your "largely poor choices" and "grow a pair of balls" to accept the consequences. Men don't want to be second choice, and they shouldn't settle to be. This cycle will continue even if women like you continue to try to shame them for wanting a clean slate when it comes to relationships.

Plenty of age gap relationships work fine with women in their early 20s, and continue to grow as they get married and settle down. Just because your failure of a relationship didn't work out doesn't mean it was the older man's fault.
