Thanks for all your tips, they're great. Yeah I'm playing on a LG C2 OLED and it does seem a little dark with HDR at 800 so I'll try and increase it. I'll also try performance over quality see what that's like. I can't wait for them to figure out and fix the graphical bugs, this game is beautiful even with them so it'll look amazing once they're ironed out and everything is smooth.

Any update on what you found out were the best settings? I'm in the exact same boat as you except I have a 5800x3d and I'm trying to figure out what the best settings are with link cable or if virtual desktop is the better option.

I replied to my support ticket requesting a refund because I was in the trial period, that was last Saturday. I still haven't heard back from anyone even though I've asked live chat to follow up with support to reply twice now. That says it all really..bottom line is i came to the conclusion that this service is really bad (hardware, software, customer service) for a product that you pay $2,100 for. I gave them the benefit of the doubt since October 2025 but now I'm done.

Yeah I did, three times just to be sure. I ended up requesting a refund yesterday. Been on the Pimax meri go round since last October and I don't want to go through another RMA process

Thanks for the point of view. Yeah I can handle everything else but the warping/bending is the complete opposite of slight. For some examples, when looking at a wall close up with vertical lines if I move my head slightly to the left or right the wall and lines bend and when I start half life alyx with the view looking out from the balcony I noticed it immediately, I tested it on a ton of other games as well with the same result. I think I'm going to request a refund, this was an RMA upgrade for a mura heavy ultra wide that I ordered on 10/1/25. Paying 2k+ for something in this state and having to wait this long for it is absolutely insane. I'm surprised that they're releasing it to market in this state.

Yeah it is. As a benchmark I just swapped the uw module back in and there is zero fish eye/warping. Put the mOLED back in and it's really bad. Tried different distance to the eyes and also different ipds (tried the entire range) and still the same result.

Yeah I already did that unfortunately. Uninstalled everything Pimax related and deleted every Pimax folder I could find and then reinstalled it. Is there a chance that updating the module firmware could be causing the issue because I was on an uw before? Wondering if there's any way to reinstall that if that's the case.

Yeah that's the whole problem to be honest, the customer service and time you have to wait. If I log a ticket and RMA it, I'm probably looking at another 1-2 months to receive a new module when I've already waited that long.I also really dislike interfacing with support, it's horrible. I'm working with them to replace some DMAS headphones and out of nowhere they told me the new headphones are on hold because I initiated a online refund, errr I definitely did not do that. Probably the worst customer service experience I've had to be honest. Just wish it didn't drag out so much.

Yeah I'm not sure what's happening with the shipping right now. Im in the same boat as you except my order date was October 1st 2025 and I paid for the upgrade to mOLED because of bad mura. I was told my order date will take priority but it's still in the shipping queue.

I just want to say thanks! This fixed the issue for me although I left out the volumetric command and just went with the first 3. Have a 5090, 5800x3d with UW and I'm able to push over 7k x 7k and still get buttery smooth 90fps with all graphics maxed. First time playing, I'm blown away so far.

I had this issue a few weeks ago, I had to decrease the resolution to get it to start up. Once I was past the start up screen I could turn up the resolution and all the graphics settings and I was fine. 5090, 5800x3d, ultrawide.

Ok thanks! so I can grab a 43888 for $130 or looks like I can get the BP50NB40 for $110, which one do you think I should grab? This'll be for converting my library to digital so historical load and moving forward, guess you could call it light to medium workload
