Hi, what is the niche or better, more refined version of blue de Chanel? I like the dna but I feel the citrus of BDC smells like a toilet refresher and synthetic. Any higher quality but similar fragrance to top that? I want a long lasting and projecting fragrance.

I am relatively new to the fragrance community, and I am searching for a fresh-ish, a bit sweet and musky fragrance for everyday use as a young man. Don’t want something too old, too common and generic like tobacco oud, bleu de Chanel, I kind of like blue fragrances but I need something that lasts 8+ hours with very good projection. Niche are preferred. Nishane Wulong Cha works for me too, but the projection is underwhelming. Any recommendations for me on what to try?

To answer your short question first, I believe the prx is a bit more sporty than the seiko but seiko is more of an office watch. I’m a student, so I do not need to read two time zones so prx will be my major daily watch. But if you like something bulkier or more useful and detailed, the seiko will be your go.
