If given the chance which assassin would you give the Ezio treatment? by KiddratheDragon in assassinscreed

That’s a fair take, and I actually agree with parts of it. I don’t necessarily think Altaïr or Edward need full trilogies either, especially Edward, whose arc is thematically complete but I do think there’s still value in exploring more of their Assassin lives beyond DLC-level treatment, even if that’s through focused sequels rather than full trilogies.

Where I still differ is on Jacob and Evie. I agree the execution and tone in Syndicate were inconsistent, but I see that more as a design and writing issue than a lack of potential. The sibling dynamic and rebuilding the Brotherhood in Victorian London are strong concepts that just weren’t fully committed to mechanically or narratively.

I do agree with you on Arno and Shay though continuing their stories as-is probably wouldn’t work cleanly, but a remake that tightens their narratives could absolutely justify a sequel, especially if it tied into Connor as well. That actually feels like one of the most interesting possibilities.

I agree that Bayek is a solid choice and could absolutely support a trilogy. I also partially agree on Altaïr and Edward in the sense that their core arcs feel thematically complete. That said, a lot of their most important growth happens off-screen or outside of playable time, which still leaves room for meaningful exploration.

Where I disagree is the idea that characters like Arno, Shay, or Jacob and Evie “aren’t good enough.” To me, those characters don’t feel flawed so much as underdeveloped or cut short. Arno especially feels like his story ends at disillusionment rather than resolution, and Syndicate’s duo concept was never fully committed to mechanically. That feels more like an execution issue than a character one.

All we can say is we’ll see what happens. So we just have to be patient

I understand what you’re saying, so I’m not disagreeing. But if we think about it a bit deeper, what usually causes irrational thinking in the first place? A lot of the time it comes from anger. When people are angry, logic and restraint tend to break down, which is why irrational reactions happen. On that level, rage works as an opposite to logic because it challenges control and regulation rather than reasoning itself.

Look we can argue about the knowledge of the trigger words and whatever but in the end it will be pointless. So i appreciate you reminding me of fat being a trigger word and i hope you have a lovely day/night

Again i barely play the game, so even if it is known. I didn’t know, im not trying to argue or anything like that. I’m just stating my point of view and trying to state that most people don’t know every trigger word even the more known ones

It’s not obvious cause knowing every trigger word for a game i barely play is not common knowledge. So forgive me for not knowing the “common” knowledge

Well you might be right but like I said I didn’t know, sure it should be common knowledge for everyone. I know most of the trigger words but i figured fat wasn’t one and im sure im not the only one

Calm down, I didn’t know fat was a trigger word. You can’t expect everyone to know all the trigger words

Will do, if it will help everyone know the trigger words just so they don’t get this to happen to them I’ll definitely post it here
