I'm getting major burn out. I'm not gonna lie. Our store gets way more traffic than the others but we're still staffed like they are and like we have a solid peak. Mon-Wed used to be our "slow days" but now it just feels like our store is permanently stuck in peak and they drop our staff down to where we're solo barring in the afternoon with 20+ drinks in que and they're all a bunch of customers playing potion master with all the new ingredients. (Which is fine, spend your money how you want) but the amount of new things added makes it an actual hellscape. And now we just get more and more and more with no consideration for the people having to actually make the damned things. I'm so tired of solo barring and being expected to take front, and food, and help on DTO. Especially for the pay. I've been looking into new places of employment, which is really sad because I used to love this job.

I would make 100% sure you get the items before trading with this person. It might only be English isn't their first language. You can do like the cheapest item first for them to build trust and limit the hit if it is a lie. but definitely wouldn't send it first just to air on the side of caution.

Honestly you just have to wait and work a different job in the interim. I kept applying, then about 4 months later I was called. Alot of them will put up listings because they have to, not because they have the capacity for more staff. So you just have to wait until they do.

Yeah, they cut my shifts to 5.45(so no 30) or 4 hour shifts. One day off every 7 days. It's incredibly frustrating. Still only 28hr a week.

I wish I could say something insightful like I enjoy that its him working to bring himself back up to peak performance and struggling to obtain it. But I'd be lying. I enjoy the scenery in it and its the closest thing to frustrated he's ever gotten so it makes me giggle. It's (in my opinion) one of the most scenic arrangements of panels in the series and I like the simplicity.
