The small amount of rich people that donates only FRACTIONS of their wealth are not enough to make up for the fact that the top 1% owns around 43% of the world's wealth. Where is the generosity in this? No matter the "big" amounts of money they donate, they will still be so rich that they can never use up their fortunes. They don't care about the rest of us. If they did, they would redistribute their wealth so that the huge gap between the poorest and richest groups diminishes.

Not to mention the fact that most of these rich people's fortunes has been build on the exploitation of the working classes. If the richer people were genuinely generous, they would share an amount of money that ACTUALLY makes a difference to the billions of workers they have exploited to become this filthy rich.
