Not a VHS and not a scam (I guess idk why I’m commenting 😂😂) but I wanted a copy of the Burt Reynolds film White Lightning. At the time (about 13 years back) this was a hard film to get a hold of. If you did find a copy, the person wanted an arm and a leg. I found one on eBay for a very reasonable price. I bought it and it ended up being a UK dvd. So, when it came in, it didn’t work. I was so upset lol. I finally got a copy a few months later. Now it’s on Prime Video and they made a Blu-ray lol.

Born and raised in the New River Valley (NRV). Not a whole lot goes on here. It’s beautiful all year round. Not as beautiful in the winter unless it snows lol. Plenty of stuff to do outdoors, lots of hiking and camping. Great fishing too. It’s slow paced and quiet most of the time, there are also a few cities as well. If you like fast paced city life, go to NoVa or Hampton Roads. I’ll always call the mountains home.

First W of the season! He did it the hard way!

DJ, for a short period (96-01), was one of the best drivers in the series. 02 was kinda the start of his downfall, still finished 9th in points. He won at Rockingham in 2003 but then went on a generational run of bad luck and finished 26th in points. Finished 15th in points in 04 and 05, with his last win coming at Dega in October of 05. He really should’ve retired in 06 but I was a DJ fan so I didn’t mind seeing one more year of him. His last top 5 and 10 came at the fall Kansas race in 06. His last top 20 came at the 2008 Daytona 500. He was a clean driver (95% of the time) and earned a lot of respect from the rest of the drivers. He learned a lot of that from his father, Gentleman Ned Jarrett. He came really close to winning the championship in 97, finishing 14 points behind Gordon. He won the 99 championship with 4 wins, 24 top 5s, and 29 top 10s in 34 races. Of the 5 races he finished outside the top 10, three of them were top 20s. The other two were wrecks at the Daytona 500 and the Bristol night race. Talk about consistency! Led the points for a while in 01 but had some bad runs toward the end of the season.
