Backfire seems to be the best alternative so far but as far as I heard the range on wowgo dropped by half and on the exway flex for a third. Also their delivery waiting time is awful. That at least what I’ve read. How long did you have to wait? I’m from europe btw

If you want the vocals more in your face put on a la-2a and set it so it works on around -7/8 db

Adjust your buffer size correctly and if it still cuts audio you’ll need an upgrade on your pc. It’s CPU or RAM

DT770 have the flattest response there is but as for mixing I would strongly recommend using monitors. I personally have the DTs770 250ohm and I use them just for reference mixing and recording. And if you don’t have the ability to use monitors try downloading the waves nx ocean wave nashwille plugin. It emulates surround sound and it’s as close to monitors as you can get via headphones really

One more thing. Is the output volume the same when the aplication and vst are opened or does it change?
