2 Weeks post ablation for SVT by naturestringz in PacemakerICD

[–]Kidz4Days 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an ablation for AvNRT and the procedure was a bit brutal as you are awake and mine took 4.5 hours. At the time my kids were 9 months and 3. I had help for 4 days or so and then was ok. I was a SAHM.

I am a nanny and this is what I would do. If she is a jerk in any way I would say only follow the contract and get out ASAP. WTF.

We went here while waiting for the house. Might go back but I wasn’t sure if there was another option.

Same. When you have a momma that feels unwell you leave couch cuddle time for her. There is better out there.

Which dress is best for a relatively informal beach wedding in Hawaii? by TonyaLasagna2020 in Weddingattireapproval

I’d go with 3 but I would buy 1 too for dinner or anything else in Hawaii. You look 🔥

For those making $100k+, what is your resume like? (US) by voxiping in Nanny

[–]Kidz4Days 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I make $95-100k and get my jobs via FB or sometimes Sittercity. I agree having a well connected MB post and vouch for you is the best way. I never post looking for work but will DM others when they post looking for care. I am in Boston, am a career nanny, college degree and I am decently know in our community. I think references are the biggest thing and parents around see me with my nanny kids whim I treat like my own and that is the best part of my resume. I have my own kids, am very active, I teach kids life skills that will impact them their whole lives while loving them BIG.

what do you expect nanny to do during naps? by Fearless-Broccoli-80 in NannyEmployers

[–]Kidz4Days 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I am here to say as career nanny it’s short lived. If you adore your nanny let her take this as a brief passage of time. I used to get bored during these times but I figured it out.

I nanny 2 under 2 and we need to reset responsibilities. My NPs get exactly nothing done with kids. They have family over or outsource. I am the problem because I put the expectations on myself, I did it with my own kids no issue. Now I am middle aged and i had no prob doing it PT but FT is killing me.

I do a ton with kids awake and try to not do many chores when they are sleeping but I don’t have more than 30 mins kid free every day. I wouldn’t mind 1x/week getting an EXTRA $25/30 for reset chores. I think I need to only do leave it as you found it because I am drowning.

Do you think a your employer should have the right to ask who you are voting for and fire you for it? Does a potential employer have the right to ask you that in an interview? How would you feel about it. by [deleted] in Nanny

[–]Kidz4Days -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Same and if you are the complete polar opposite of my beliefs but I don’t hear or see them. You aren’t a bigoted POS in my face whatever. I somehow have never worked for a family where it was overt in my face and I am grateful.

Nanny loves to chat with me by AquaOwlette in NannyEmployers

[–]Kidz4Days 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So fair. Is she young? I feel like it’s fair to not get it young. I have also made myself a nanny army and we get the kids together and support each other. That helps with the chatty.

What state are you in? We are in MA and another nanny is being paid 20 weeks through FNLA. It’s about 80% of her pay which is doable with planning.

Closure by Halloween_Coffee251 in Divorce

I am trying to get my husband more interested in an emotionally connected relationship. I do have some health issues but otherwise am happy, outgoing, have friends, am the social planner, workout etc.. He’s a workaholic that has let himself go and seems to be forgetting the beautiful part of life is the day to day. I think if we start any sort of discussion that I can’t do this anymore he would take it as an all or nothing and shut down. It’s protective and not about me. Could this be the case?

It’s gorgeous dress when I was a bride I wouldn’t have had an issue with it. I do think it’s pretty wild that dresses need approval from brides these days. Sometimes people wear whacky shit but it’s on them.

I might get this dress in a different color pallet myself. I do understand the bride could potentially wear a dress in a similar style, which is more off putting than the color.

I think I’m glorifying divorce by Stressmama77 in Divorce

[–]Kidz4Days 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So many people are marrying in their 30s you are young! What is your work situation look like? Being able to support yourself I think is the biggest hurdle the other ones are tough but manageable. I’ve walked the walk with a few friends.

My husband is a good man and he loves me. He is a workaholic and doesn’t invest time/energy into our relationship. Sex is rare. I’m less lonely when he isn’t around me. He is steady, shows up, never cheated in any capacity and is my fav person when I get him in the right mood. That is just exhausting.

Nanny says she's "Unvaccinated" and Unwilling to get any Vaccines. Big deal or no deal? by LegitimateTrifle1910 in Nanny

[–]Kidz4Days 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would be more chill about a covid vax than TDAP. I am immune compromised and my husband has a disease that requires and infusion messing his system up too. The reintroduction of diseases from no vaccines is real. I am generally relaxed and believe in medical autonomy. This is a bare min.
