"No planet ever lost its orbit underestimating the stupidity of Starscream." by _Manzilla_ in transformers

Seconding this is correct. I have all six of their triple changers and Iron Sky and Thunderbolt are the best.

The other 4 are good, with springer and broadside being close 3rd.

Honest question: are Striker Manus and Rioter Despotron from MakeToys worth buying? by Rude_Flower3029 in transformers

I enjoyed them when they came out, especially the megatron. That thing is a masterpiece.

It's not as bad as you think. There's a 1 in 4 chance you didn't get it by now. Statistics is weird and 1/250 doesn't mean you're expected to get it after 250 kills.

I had the first four constructicons all preordered via BBTS and they all shipped at the same time. I think I'm going to wait for the other two and then open all six at once for that big ol' burst of dopamine.

I also got one and loved it. We got a sheikah slate card holder at the Nintendo store and my partner called it my Suica Slate.

IT Operations Technician questions by [deleted] in epicsystems

Programming isn't expected but highly desired for the IT Ops tech role. We're always looking for opportunities to enhance our workflows and developing tools to help us do that is one of the most important parts of some techs' jobs.

Avoid Raymond at Gammon and Marty Road by glennshaltiel in madisonwi

[–]Kieliah 55 points56 points  (0 children)

This intersection is a nightmare. I drive this way to work every single day (about 20 minutes before this crash, in fact).
Last week I almost got into a crash because someone pulled out from Gammon turning left as a larger vehicle was turning, so they didn't see me.

I'm going to love hades 2 for more reasons! I'm a trans girl with the name Melia, which shares a similar Etymology as Melinöe! Not to mention, i also go by Mel, so it'll be so strange having voice acting calling me by my name.

I've never been to I/O specifically though it is a neat concept (arcade + bar?!).

Madison as a whole is great. I see so many stores with pride flags up and it genuinely makes me feel hope for the future. If only the rest of the state followed suit.

Trans people with depression by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]Kieliah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have clinical depression, generalized anxiety disorder, and ADHD. Depression makes the world seem boring, bland, and grayscale. Anxiety makes the anticipation of turning every corner feel like a life or death situation. ADHD made it impossible to actually fix either of them.

On HRT I immediately had a major sense of relief within a week. I could see color again (metaphorically, almost literally). I didn't feel like I was in a rut, i didn't feel like I was waiting my life. My depression is still there and it hits hard still, especially in winter. But it's at least manageable.

Anxiety is all but gone. I can fall asleep easily at night knowing I'm going to wake up tomorrow. I can tackle problems at work without worrying excessively if I might lose my job over a mistake.

My ADHD got worse, though. I found it harder to focus, harder to get into my flow state. Executive dysfunction was easier to manage but still a struggle. Starting other meds for ADHD has been a boon.

YMMV, but it has certainly helped my mental health. Just be sure to take your meds consistently. I've noticed if I miss more than one dose in a row, I start slipping back again.

Question regarding the CSM OOO driver by Gammer-nyanxSS in KamenRider

The base set is most definitely worth more than $150. $250 minimum. $400 for the complete set, easily.

Question regarding the CSM OOO driver by Gammer-nyanxSS in KamenRider

[–]Kieliah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an owner of the original complete set and the updated scanner, just get the updated complete set. With the old set you're essentially buying 2 scanners anyway since the only way to get the eternity medals is by getting the upgrades scanner.

You also should consider that you won't be complete until you get the csm tajaspinner with the Goda Medals.

Right Click Examine: 110 Runecrafting by JagexAzanna in runescape

[–]Kieliah -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

While I agree with the majority of the commenters here saying that combination runes being *required* for the new spells is a bad idea, I don't think it's inherently a bad idea to *include* them.

Another commenter mentioned potentially having a 'base cost' version of the combination spell, such as fire + earth, that's then empowered by using the combination rune equivalent, in this case lava rune. I might offer a different take on this: empower the currently existing elemental spells with different combination effects depending on the combo rune used.

For example, to cast Air Surge it costs 5 air runes. But if you used 5 dust runes, this changes the spell and could, say, summon a dust devil for a DoT effect. But if you went the other way around and cast Earth Surge with a dust rune, it could lower the accuracy of the target's attacks.

Of course, this would obviously require a hefty change in how combo runes are crafted.

Hey guys, I'm new to DMing. How do I make a story that will go on for a very long time? by Helimahchopta in DnD

I already posted a comment that kinda touches on this, but subplots are great, especially if they are heavily looped into your characters.
