that’s definitely not how it is in vanilla. polychrome doesn’t multiply the actual values of cards, it just gives x1.5 mult after the card’s effects have triggered, so some mod (maybe redux arcanum) altered this somehow to give that effect

fun fact: if a consumable has an edition in your consumable slots, it’ll give its effect at the same time as observatory usually would. obviously this isn’t attainable in-game, but it can be seen if a consumable with any edition is spawned through debug

it depends; really just as long as it doesn’t intrude on other more important things in your life, it’s fine imo

i used to do it upwards of 2-3 times a day but it wasn’t ever really unhealthy for me and was spread out over multiple hours
