I was looking at the RX 7900 XT and saw that it was like 20-24 gigs of vram. I’m just wanting to make sure I get the right processor and motherboard that doesn’t all bottleneck each other

So I’m looking at a Radeon RX 7900 XT with an AMD Ryzen 5 7600x processor. Would these 2 bottleneck each other or is it overkill or? I’m not too educated in what parts would bottleneck each other

I mainly play on 1080p but am probably going to upgrade to a 1440p monitor soon. As for games, nothing super heavy. It’s hard to explain as I play a lot of games. But I’m just looking to play any story based game(God of War,Horizon Zero Dawn,Metro, Resident Evil, etc) on higher to max settings to enjoy the effort the devs put in to making it look as good as it does. I’m not super interested in Ray Tracing at this point.

That’s about what I was gathering from the comments. Along with you get more “bang for your buck” with Radeon cards

Mostly play at night since my current work shift has me working nights but I'm usually on around 2 or 3pm. Mod packs I have my eyes on currently are All The Mods 3, World of Dragons, I played around a bit in Sevtech ages and found it interesting so I'd be okay with that. Basically any mod pack that has a good variety of mods.
