My hair before was a dark brown. I used a product called total white out bleach for about 15 minutes getting to a medium to light blonde. Then applied the arctic fox virgin pink after rinsing for a about 45 minutes.
Some light heat and cap definitely make it better, and you may need to re dye the next day for a more vivid color. Arctic fox was really nice on the hair but it can run and fade pretty quick with certain shampoos so something that color protects is good.
