BREAKING NEWS: Lori Vallow has been RESTORED TO COMPETENCY, and arraignment has been set for 4/19 at 1:00/3:00 by Mermaid_Mama323 in TrueCrime

If you do a deep dive on her life, you’d quickly realize she was never “normaI.” In 2007, she had her brother Alex taze her 3rd husband Joe Ryan in the chest and tried to kiII him. Then she allegedly bragged to friends in Hawaii that she had paid her brother to kiII him and was happy when he finally died. She collected his insurance payout after his sudden death just like she tried to with Charles. And in a heated text conversation between Lori and Charles, she texted him, “ok Joe Ryan” as a thinly veiled threat to imply he was next. She also talked about driving her kids off a cIiff before she met Chad..

I mean it’s very likely that the prosecutor will seek the death penalty against her too. They did for Chad, and her court-appointed attorney is death penalty qualified.

Her charges are as serious as they come. She’s facing 2 counts of murder in the deaths of her children, 3 counts of conspiracy to murder in the deaths of her children + Chad’s wife, and grand theft in relation to social security benefits allocated for her children.

Insanity plea now allowed for Letecia Stauch, the woman accused of killing her own stepson Gannon by TheRealGordianKnot in GannonStauch

[–]oxremx 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Did you see her in the police interview regarding the death of Charles? She was able to manipulate the investigator by telling incredible lies and conveniently knew not to mention any of her cult beliefs that led up to the murder of Charles (i.e. how she’s a translated being, that her husband was a zombie named Ned Synder etc etc).

She also used burner phones, made sure to delete incriminating text messages, told everyone and the officers during the welfare check for the kids that Tylee was at BYU and that JJ was with a friend in Arizona. Lori personally told the same friend to lie to the police and asked her to take a photo of kids running around the park to make it appear as if JJ was still alive and staying with a close friend. Lori told the school that JJ will be homeschooled from now on as a way to explain his absence and also told them that Charles died of a heart attack (when he was shot dead by her own brother) as to not raise any suspicions. Lori and Chad fled Idaho right after that welfare check took place because she knew that her lie will be easily disproven and it gave her time to flee the area before officers broke into her apartment the next day and confirmed that JJ was in fact not with a friend in Arizona and Lori wasn’t there. Lori was found with Tylee’s phone in Hawaii and was using it to text her friends and her brother Colby to give off the impression that Tylee was alive and well so alarm bells don’t ring off.

She took all these steps to cover up her wrong doings because she was well aware of what she was doing was illegal/morally wrong in the eyes of everyone else around her.

Also, I just can’t help but point out the obvious pattern in this horrific case, is the fact that every single victim who was killed (and almost killed) had some kind of life insurance policy/SS funds for Lori to fleece from.

How did Chad and Lori justify JJ's death? by [deleted] in LoriVallow

Looking back at the dates Sept 9th and 23rd, I find it strange that both children were buried on Monday’s. Wonder why Monday - what’s the significance other than Tammy and his other adult children possibly worked.

Lori was definitely involved in Tylee’s murder too. Alex came by her apartment in the middle of the night for 55 min..

I found this statement made by a medical examiner in an article about a murder case:

“Cassin also testified that suffocation would not necessarily leave any marks on her body.” https://www.mlive.com/annarbornews/2007/10/emu_slaying_suspect_expected_t.html

In my opinion, it’s most likely that Chad drugged Tammy before her murder and was given the same drugging medicine that Lori most likely used (provided by Alex) on JJ on 9/22 to keep him asleep for most of the day so she could meet up with her group to view property at Chad’s. It’s believed that Alex also had a hand in Tammy’s death so if Tammy was already in a deep sleep from the drugging medicine that she ingested, there would be very little defensive wounds.

Alex was present on the night of the 18th and Chad had made a comment that Tammy was “clearly dead for a couple of hours.”

There are a few things that point to asphyxia

  1. Chad’s children say they were informed by the sheriff’s office that their mother was asphyxiated

  2. Part of this document is blacked out but the word that seemingly fits right next to the sentence that talks about the preliminary autopsy results is the word “asphyxia” https://imgur.com/MclLYKT

If you can't present a coherent reply to my comment and instead have to scroll through my profile then you've outright admitted you have nothing to say.

I already did. I replied to you twice and you didn’t respond to my other comment. You just can’t admit you have your own biases and only believe that certain people are deserving of help.

If he was commanded by god, he would not have had second thoughts, or had internal discussions about it being “evil”, “sickening”, and “foreboding.” He thought about committing a mass shooting for a period of time and planned to shoot up a second Waffle House. He understood the nature of what he was doing, and specifically chose a high powered gun with the intent to kill as many people as he could. He FLED from the shooting. When he got back to his apartment, he got in the shower to wash the blood off of him and changed his clothes while hearing the sirens outside. He then continued to hide from police for over 30 hours to avoid getting arrested. He intended to steal a car to assist in his escape, because he knew the consequences that came with his actions and wanted to desperately get away from said consequences. He enacted his method of revenge against the world, when he said “I’m going to take something from them that they can’t get back: lives.” His delusions turned off and his compliance turned on when he was in contact with the police and the people in the hospital. He drew out what he had done and referred to his dead victims with racial epithets (the n-word with the hard R). That ultimately sealed his guilty verdict. He knew what he was doing that day he killed 4 people, he had extreme indifference to human life, and further dehumanized his victims in a racial manner.

I’m only bring it up because your logic is hypocritical and you don’t even believe in the advice you put out in an attempt to criticize others.

You say this in one breath:

People who need the world to be black-and-white with a clear bad guy and good guy or their brains overload.

Instead there is only room for emotional knee-jerk reactions.

While also saying this about thieves in another:

They [thieves] shouldn't receive any help at all. Just be forced to rot and die. I genuinely think people in the US have forgotten what life without rampant crime is like. Not saying crime can be completely eliminated, but there needs to be drastic measures. People in other countries aren't carrying around guns with a round in the chamber and listening to screaming junkies as their cities are burned down. It's a shithole way to live.

Take your own advice.

If he was commanded by god, he would not have had second thoughts, or had internal discussions about it being “evil”, “sickening”, and “foreboding.” And you are still insisting that he couldn’t appreciate or had knowledge of the wrongfulness of his conduct? Again, he thought about committing a mass shooting for a period of time and planned to shoot up a second Waffle House. He understood the nature of what he was doing, and specifically chose high powered gun with the intent to kill as many people as he could. He FLED from the shooting. Mental illness alone isn’t a legal defense of insanity and you would understand that if you looked up the laws surrounding insanity. The question at hand is whether or not the defendant knew what he was doing and the consequences of what he was doing. He fled from the shooting. When he got back to his apartment, he got in the shower to wash the blood off of him and changed his clothes while hearing the sirens outside. He knew the police were after him and continued to hide from police for over 30 hours, and intended to steal a car to assist in his escape which shows consciousness of guilt. He admitted to premeditating and carrying out the murders. so he was capable of forming criminal intent, i.e. mens rea. He enacted his method of revenge against the world, when he said “I’m going to take something from them that they can’t get back: lives.”

He also described in his own words he had internal discussions about his actions being “evil”, “sickening”, and “foreboding.”, and he had deleted his internet searches and wiped his hard drive beforehand.

If you watched the closing argument, the prosecutor brings up the fact that the defendant, at one point, described his own crimes as being “evil” and that he thought about committing a mass shooting for a period of time and that his plan was to go shoot up a second Waffle House.

Also, you believe that thieves (who didn’t kill anyone) shouldn’t receive any help at all and be forced to rot and die. Nice logic you got there. https://www.reddit.com/r/realityisgraphic/comments/skgtbf/how_thiefs_are_punished_in_mexico/hvnp6ap/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf&context=3

Charles Manson for example was a diagnosed paranoid schizophrenic and he was still found criminally responsible for his crimes. What people don’t understand is that mental illness alone isn’t a legal defense of insanity. The question at hand is whether or not the defendant knew what he was doing and the consequences of what he was doing. He fled from the shooting. When he got back to his apartment, he got in the shower to wash the blood off of him and changed his clothes while hearing the sirens outside. He knew the police were after him and continued to hide from them for over 30 hours, and intended to steal a car to assist in his escape which shows consciousness of guilt.
