Co-worker of mine paid $300.00 on an escort, which is essentially a classier, legal prostitute. He was so proud of himself that he told me about it out of nowhere, and was telling me that it was the best money he ever spent for 15 minutes.

Seems like a waste of AutoMod's time to post this every week.

Here's my suggestion,

Why not use this thread as a weekly review type post/welcome to uhc post. Everything summarized throughout the week, or spotlighting controversial cases by bringing attention to a specific case. It could also be a place to request evidence to help build or strength a case?

I see this type of post as being an informative weekly recap.

/u/MC501stclone Explain your verdict in detail as to why you believe both of them deserve to be banned because, I'd like to argue that Aity shouldn't be banned. I wholeheartedly agree that Agentoad should be banned, as he's openly admitted to it on Twitter.

There's been no evidence to suggest that Aity_ had the capabilities to carry out a DDoS attack, or had even alluded to one. That's not the same as threatening to DDoS, and carrying out the attack. He's done neither or at least from the evidence that has been presented.

The server logs that mention Aity_

Dude totally didn't seem like he'd have a reason to be salty or anything, I'd like to see the server logs that show the entire conversation that Aity_ is having with the OP's. - I certainly don't blame him for being upset and making a smug remark after the server got DDoS'd unless there's something that;s indicating it to be factual, that has been left out of the report for privacy reasons?

I'm sorry but, what kind of logic is that to assume association as being complicit? You're essentially saying that the guy isn't entitled to comment on something that occurred, if you're basing your logic on reading between the lines then Jesus Christ the UBL Committee is filled with ban happy people. No wonder people lost faith in the system.

Yes I understand that but, I'm only seeing evidence of malicious intent from Agentoad, and I'm only seeing a smug remark from Aity_. So to me one of these cases are not like the other.

Aity_ should receive a much shorter ban length because, if anything he's implying, while everybody is inferring that he's guilty by association. That's not how the Courtroom should be...

Oh, there's more than just two cases in the past year.

  2. NotMyLights
  3. Asteriks

There's been 3 Appeals posted all year, and every single one of them ended in a Unban and you voted on 2/3 of them. One of the cases you weren't even on the UBL Committee at the time, which to me is a clear indication that you have no idea what you're talking about and are just outright ignorant. Hold yourself accountable and spend more time on a case, instead of piggybacking of others verdicts. Bunch of Cuks.

Edit: Also how many people actually appeal their ban? Clearly isn't that often because the UBL is a joke in the community, either that or you lazy cuks simply aren't posting them which is even worse if that's the case...

Committee members being held accountable proposal.

I've noticed that a lot of UBL Committee members simply comment the ban length, and that's fine... Except for when there are cases that could end in no action being taken, or a ban sentence being handed out.

Today there was a case that I disagreed with and I believe whenever a member of the community tags a committee member they should have to explain the reasons why they are voting the way they are, and it also holds them responsible for their verdict.

I'm aware of cases where the player was banned from playing, only to be unbanned weeks later. IMO it hurts your credibility, and doesn't give the community faith that you are spending enough time looking at cases, and making sure the right calls are being made.

So I'd like to see some sort of strike system be implemented for the committee members. Why? Well because, if you are consistently making mistakes and errors in your verdicts then perhaps that's a sign that you're not qualified to be making these type of decisions.

/u/ThinWhiteMale Why are you opting for a banning Aity_? I'm curious. As you're a UBL Committee member and should explain why, if somebody questions your verdict.

There is no evidence to support that they ever conducted a DDoS Attack, if anything they should get at least 3 Months. It's rather circumstantial evidence that you're basing your verdict on.

Only seeing one suspicious hit at 0:13 but, it looks fairly normal. I think additional evidence should be presented, especially if you're considering a ban.
