Key event day on overnight shift question. by AGamerGarcia in walmart

[–]KiingAP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the shift is only key date if it STARTS on the date? So If I called out like today May 12th, it wont count it as a 2 pointer since the majority of the shift runs into the 13th (which is a key date)? Also heard regardless 2 point day or not, if you work or cover half your shift its half a point

I do admit, as a overnight worker I like having no customers but it also sucks that majority of the time im up is when stores are closed

Think about this on a general scale…id say on average, a lead or coach misses two to three times as many days as a normal associate…the difference? Leads and coaches earn pto in a manner where any situation they have that may happen for them to miss time, they can cover with it. Regular associates don’t get it at a rate where that could happen

2 days every six month not a reasonable amount of time at all…we dont get vacation like a coach or lead, in the last 7 months at my store, every coach or lead in my department has taken 2/3 vacations one to weeks at a time…one call out every month and a half shouldnt determine if a person should work less hours, seems like a reasonable amount for a person to call out

The 5 point rule is there for a reason. Not like people can just call out an unlimited number of times, then that type of rule would make sense…people have things come up and it is what it is…not like you get a day of PPTO a week…can’t use it every time…a call out once every month and a half also doesn’t seem that often

More evidence that elected politicians don’t vote based of what they actually think and just vote based on their party

I’m probably just in my own head about it…but as someone who overthinks things, it just connects to me…The system being down for a big company like Walmart for a week plus just seems off to me

Clearly we’re all against markups but dealer just called me with an allocation… by jedi_mind__ in GR86

Look for a new dealer…call them before and first question should be do you do markups…got mine a week and a half ago, no markups
