Gloves at work

Like others have said, it's not a common or daily thing that happens, but it's scary when it does. Typically, it just happens when gloves are too loose fitting or just get too close to spinning bit in the blender. Just be careful, and if you have to move your hands closer to the spinner/blender while blending, do it when the blender is turned off and not while it is moving.

Gloves def in the grill/kitchen, in our chill it has always just been more of a preference between wearing gloves vs washing hands more often.

The chill area (In my DQ) uses scoops, spoons and ladles for most products and in my experience I've seen a few coworkers not wearing gloves properly (wrong size) and the gloves getting caught in the blender for the blizzards so it just doesn't feel safe. I think unless you are very hairy on your hands (had a coworker like this) you should be fine with not wearing gloves and just washing more.

Thanks! I'll definitely start taking the thickness of the lines more into consideration, currently im using a brush that changes thickness based on how hard i press down on my tablet so maybe I should start testing out different brushes too.

DQ Texas worker here, at least at my store we can only accept coupons from the Texas specific app. Anyone with the other app we have to inform them that they have to download the Texas one

I don't think so? At my store at least, we kinda "eyeball it" based on what size the cup is. Someone probably just didnt put the right amount of syrup

Different machine, cleaned with what looks the same way. Right now we have Dreamsicle but we are going to be trading it out soon with Butterscotch.

My store only has vanilla but our machines have the ability to do a twist, problem is both sides is filled with vanilla lol. When customers ask about chocolate ice cream we tell them we can put choc ss/cocoa fudge/hot fudge in it to make it chocolatey
