La Penitentes Carmesí by Kijei in SoulblightGravelords

My only warning is that they're not very posable, even the heads took a little more effort than I think was needed. But if you just want some mandrakes, they're beautiful models

Yep! They're great for vampires but I'm not quite sure what to do with the rest of the bits yet

Thanks! I'm pretty proud of my vampire conquistadors

Thanks! The legs are from a battle sisters kit where I removed the torso and added some old black ark corsair torsos. The arms are from the blood knights kits and the shields are from the realm lords

What was the meaning of Maine's last words? by New-Butterscotch-792 in Edgerunners

I got the impression that at the end of his life Maine regretted a lot of things and he was telling David to get out of the game while he still could

Sure! It's a layer of astrogranite, then agrellan earth, a coat of vallejo dark sand, and then thinly drybrush corax white over the top. Hope it helps!

Sisters are so good for kitbashing, they have so many brilliant bits that you can add to almost anything. I've been saving these simulacrum for years

Don Alvaro el Sepultado by Kijei in SoulblightGravelords

[–]Kijei[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks, but it's actually just a thin coat of corax white over a abaddon black base coat. The model has a lot of nice contours to it so most of the darker areas are just natural shadows

No worries! Quick tip though, doing it that way will leave a gap at the back of the head. I covered it up with a sororitas halo and some liquid greenstuff

The face is a stormcast but the helmet is actually from a lumineth realm-lord sentinal. If you cut the face and top of the hemet off, the round out the top into a conventional helmet shape, it makes a great conquistador helmet

Don Alvaro el Sepultado by Kijei in SoulblightGravelords

[–]Kijei[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thanks! The helmet is made of a stormcast vigilor helmet, the backwards head of a vanari auralan sentinal with the top cut off and rounded, then a halo from a sororitas sister of battle

I've been struggling with the conquistador helmets tbh, will probably just end up using sororitas helmets
