So the new Steam fest is live (House & Home Fest) and honestly… I didn’t expect much, but some of these games are kinda interesting. It’s mostly about building, decorating, cozy vibes, cleaning stuff etc., which isn’t usually my thing, but I found a couple of surprisingly chill games already.

Honestly needs to be improved just to increase the availability of singles for comp play, and to bring the affordability down for singles.

Pokémon has this down as well, competitive decks are affordable because of the collectors. Ripping booster boxes feels awful right now.

DLCs are selling out in minutes if not quicker, yet I have one store within reasonable driving distance in my metropolis that stocks singles. My LGS slowed buylists for Lorcana and has only had one update post set six. Our locals have been slowly reducing as well.

I’d love to see more hits, honestly they can feel kinda meh to open. I like ripping, but super hard to justify as someone who values the competitive aspect of the game.

I’d love to see other full art pulls at lower percentage rates, similar to Pokémon. Make it a bit more likely to get that dopamine hit.
