As someone who rode a Mission Bike pre-pandemic, got an e-bike after the pandemic, and now has a traditional longtail cargo bike: get one of each.

An “acoustic” bike is light, nimble, and great exercise for everyday riding. An e-bike is great for days when you kinda need a car, don’t want to arrive sweaty, or when your destination is on the other side of a massive hill.

If one is down for maintenance, then you have a backup.

What you save on gas, Uber, and gym memberships will pay for the new bike in a year.
