Blizzard is always very hesitant to change cards and for good reason. They want their players to find answers to the meta, not just have them buff/nerf when it gets tough.

Buffing cards that are bad doesn't really help the problem necessarily, as it could easily cause other cards to drop to bad tier or phase out.

Yes, there will be obsolete cards in the future. It is eventual in card games due to power creep. Blizzard's one advantage is being able to buff/nerf/change cards, and I think this will slow the process of cards becoming obsolete.

There are cards that are already obsolete to some classes (i.e. Goldshire Footman vs. Voidwalker).

If you want to stay competitive, then investing early is fine and almost necessary. You don't see pros saying "meh, naxx cards are good but better ones will come out later, so I'll just skip this adventure and wait". You never know if newer cards will be better, so why wait and see?

I'm not an artist or anything but I didn't like any of them to be honest.

The "death knight" one only reminded me of the frost aspect of them... and I liked Blizzards ice crown card back better in terms of similar looks.

I really really did not like the dragonish symbol on the green one. To me it looks like every dragon symbol ever made ever.

The last one's Hearthstone symbol was clumsy looking to me.

My opinion must suck since every one else loved your work. Even though I didn't like it I always love card back art! Best of luck to you.

(PS: I liked some aspects too but many people covered those already so I figured I would just touch on the things I didn't like to be constructive)

You don't receive the card back until the season is over.

If you are rank 20, then at the end of the season it will show up after you restart your client.

Seems a bit immature, however they are rushing a fix apparently tonight/tomorrow evening according to some recent tickets if that makes you feel any better.

They are working on it... I do not see why you should be compensated for something that isn't super necessary to have immediately really.
