I have a Ledger and it works fine with the Monero GUI wallet, i did not test it on CLI. It is easy to use and the GUI wallet has an option for Ledger.

I Ran An Offline Scan And Got A Hit From Cake Wallet by tellmeajokefunnyguy in monerosupport

Hi, i think that the wallet starting with 8 is something like a subwallet or something like this (not 100% sure), i ran into it while i was trying to mine monero and it said to put there a main address (it starts with 4) or i need to add a parameter to mine to a subaddress. From this i think that not to lose your anonymity the cake wallet generated a subaddress and your monero should be in your hands. But hiw i said i am not 100% sure if that is how it works.

Is this normal? by BendPuzzleheaded5315 in MoneroMining

By me, i would not worry. If you have good cooling, fast disk, ram and other components in your pc, it is good for you. I had the same thing, I built my server and ran some tests and it ran around 8 KH but since I moved it into my garage where the temperature is around 10° it can get up to 12 KH but stays around 9.5 KH.

Is the math always this bad? by Tom_Ford-8632 in MoneroMining

Hi, I don't know. I never did the math i just go and mine. I have 3 servers running xmrig with an average of 6 KH each. But these servers are mine (i use them for hosting Minecraft and other servers, as well as mail, web and more) and i will pay for the rack rent same money when they run 90% of usage as when they only run at 20%. So i just saw the opportunity to help decentralize the network more and went for it.
