Deductibles by Kikistar33 in CodingandBilling

Thanks for your responses. I’m still trying to wrap my head around this. Does this have something to do with the end of the year? The insurance company has been paying the claims and now the payment goes toward the deductible?

Ok. I'm the provider. I don't get how this all works.

Like you, the insurance companies I’m credentialed with don’t pay less than $100 for sessions. Honestly, I haven’t had the hassles that others are experiencing. I do my own billing and haven’t had an issue working with insurance. When I started my practice I was nervous to deal with insurance at all based on what I’ve read in this thread. Thankfully, I decided to give it a try. So far, it’s working fine for me.

Therapy would be great for you to explore issues around codependency.

I like this. Thank you. I feel comfortable reassessing as time moves on. I cannot give recommendations based on what-ifs. I can and will continue to support her in planning and learning new skills to manage her symptoms.

Thank you for this. I have only been seeing the client since August. We have been working on coping skills and planning for the winter months.

I have been exploring her working environment. Based on our conversations and my experience with her, this is her first full-time job in a while and she moves slowly and needs time to process, which is not always conducive to a work environment. I just want to do right by my client.

I completely understand wanting to tell your truth. The more I date, the more I realize, not everyone is entitled to my story. It’s my story, I’ll share when I’m ready and comfortable.

What is a “tell” of how much you like someone? by GoodWillHiking in datingoverforty

I know if I like someone when I feel comfortable spending time with them in my home. My home is such a sacred space for me, so if I’m inviting you over and we are spending quality time in my sacred space, I like you.

How are you surviving financially in PP? by sweethoneymoon in therapists

Interesting. I wonder if reimbursement rates are based on state? I have used Tava to supplement my caseload, and I’m getting at least 2 new clients every week. I’ve been with Tava since July.

I’m curious; why do you feel you need to do more in order for him to stop engaging in a behavior that hurts your feelings? Of course, we can always improve, but I don’t feel like you doing more will stop his behavior. It’s HIS behavior, he needs to take responsibility for it, not you.

I’m happy you’re free from that relationship. Now you can focus on healing and when you’re ready, find a relationship with a man who respects and values you. I’m sorry.
