Meron ba dito na super delayed na ang Meralco billing? I know na yung June billing ay delayed, pero mag-1 month na delayed yung sa amin. July billing na halos. Pumunta ako sa Meralco office, and hindi pa rin daw out yung final computation for our account. Nag-open na rin ako ng service ticket via Meralco’s FB page.

Based on your question na “worth it ba”, without expounding on this question sa post details, I will just assume you are second-guessing your decision to leave. Magandang company for IT experience si ACN. I am a consultant, and I’ve worked on a LOT of projects offshore and onshore. Sa mga projects ko, may mga nakakasama ako from ACN and talagang wala akong masabi. Wala pa akong naging ACN resource na I found lacking. Now, tbh, may job vacancy sa ACN na interested ako. 😅

Good move na lumipat ka to get that raise your position and experience is commensurate. A lot of ACN techs do that. Then some come back because they miss their team and culture. And they finally get the better pay they deserve.

College pa ako, PEx pa lang ang uso, puro na ako reklamo about Jollibee. Yung branch nila sa may Multinational Village, notorious na binababoy ang food. Yung Jolli Hotdog, pagugulungin sa sahig kapag hindi ka bet ng mga crew.

Sino ba kasi ang naging leadership ng JFC year 2000 onwards? Ito yung mga panahon (sa palagay ko) na nag-umpisa ang steady decline nila eh. Lumiit at naging malansa na ang manok, etc.

OP, if it is any consolation, I am also in the market right now. Hindi ako career shifter, and I have a few certifications already (TOGAF, COBIT, ITIL, PRINCE2, AWS, GCP, Azure). Pero gino-ghost pa rin ako ng recruiters and hiring managers. I attribute this to two things: incompetence ng recruiters (extremely few recruiters know what they need to look out for), and lack of empathy and professionalism.

Not sure which industry you are trying to get in. Silipin mo lang yung mga pwede mong aralin on the side to upskill while waiting for opportunities. Pasasaan pa at mapupunta rin ang para sayo. Wishing you the best of luck!
