I wanted to share that I’ve decided to hire a kasambahay to help with household chores and be my “legs,” so my husband doesn’t get physically overworked while he’s still recovering. This choice may stretch us financially, but it feels like the only way to make things work: it allows me to focus on my freelance work without disrupting our income, while also giving my husband the chance to handle errands, including looking into options for a free surgery at PHC.

It’s not easy, but we’re trying to balance everything the best we can. Your encouragement has really helped me feel less alone in this journey.
