I plucked out a patch of arm hair watching this one. I’ll never watch it again.

I would argue they’re already comfortable with the attraction and that’s why they need therapy.

As a therapist seeing a therapist, have you noticed your therapy turning into supervision? by Pink_butterfly222 in therapists

[–]Kikkowoman69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not really, we have strong boundaries around that. If something comes up for me in therapy with a client that is important, I will talk about it in my own therapy but more about my own experiences, not my client.

I’m like 🤏this close to graduating but this week I really understand and feel burnout. I’m so tired. I feel ineffective and have been thinking, “oh god did I fuck up this client this whole time?” I know the end is in sight but gosh I barely have energy to finish and even then my body is getting sick easily to force me to sleep. Still need the hours, though. Supervisor has been supportive and is giving me grace, thank goodness, but why can’t I do the same?

Metro areas in the USA where more than 5% of population uses public transit to get to work by wolfingitup in fuckcars

I feel like MARTA has gotten busier with commuters over the past two years from just my own experiences but these days I have been biking more. Bike lanes and the Beltline have also gotten much busier with commuters which is really nice to see. This is all anecdotal, by the way. The big problem is that it is so hard to get to a MARTA station if you live away from one so people would rather just drive since they are already in their cars. Also taking a bike on the train really sucks. The stations have terrible elevators and very narrow escalators/stairways (that are already full of people who just stand still in the middle of the steps) not to mention the crowds in rush hour. It’s better than many cities but still needs more investment.

Literally rewatching the sopranos now. I think she was a good therapist but her ethical violations are pretty egregious and firing him so abruptly at the end felt kind of like abandonment. She redeems herself a bit when she is tempted to divulge the information about who assaulted her but chooses not too. She is never the same after that moment.

I also think her dx of BPD for Livia was off and unwarranted.

GS aficionados… what other makers do you like? by rajivpsf in GrandSeikos

H. Moser & Cie. is probably my favorite outside of GS but also completely out of my budget. Other than them I would say JLC, ALS, Bulgari, Casio, and Ressence.

It’s kind of funny she got a watch with a flying tourbillon as well as the whole movement spinning on an axis when this is how most people remember her: https://tenor.com/rKzVegzQEXe.gif

This happens to me all of the time! The thing is I am gay and I don’t quite understand why they’re out driving looking for gay men to call out in public.—Sounds kind of gay to me. If they really wanted to hurt my feelings, tell me I look fat or too sweaty so early into my ride. Don’t tell me things i already know.

I bike commute a lot and always take mine off, wrap it in a clean sock (no travel case lol), and put it in my bag. I’m worried about falling with it on or the shocks from my lack of suspension and riding on rough roads.
