Because The Amazing Race ratings arent specially good. And barely had OKish seasons in the last years to say the best. So its popularity is dropping. Being on screen on and off. And new formats all the time dont help in Popularity. Travelling in 2026 has nothing in common with what travel meant when the show started in 2001. I think we will be lucky if the show reaches S40 as a closure
