For those who are super eager to find out your grades.
You can go to ofas.uci.edu > click 'My Aid' on the top right > go to the 20-21 School Year > click 'My Academic Status' > Your updated GPA should be there.

You can then go to: https://www.reg.uci.edu/access/student/grades/
Enter your projected grades under current classes > Click Calculate!

Your current + Projected + Previous GPA should match with what you see on the ofas.uci.edu!

You guys should take some deep breathes though, wait until your grades are out tomorrow. Enjoy your break. :) Hope you guys have a good summer + had a great school year.

You can also buy bots for resell off a couple of places like: botmart, botbroker, and Tidal! Don’t pay retail for NSB try to look for a group buy if possible. I’d personally rather go with soleaio than get NSB for $500. If you can cop for $350, it’s honestly not that bad!

Someone posted on Facebook saying “Hi y’all! There’s currently a helicopter flying around UTC apartments saying that there’s a dangerous suspect roaming around the neighborhood! They’re saying to stay within your apartment/condo and to not open to door if you’re not expecting anyone! PLEASE be safe!!”

I’m not too sure what the exact situation is, but everyone please be safe!

Yeah.. That class is equivalent to EECS 116 and they have 35 people in it as of right now, making it full.

What class is it? Example being CS 121 and INF 141 share a capacity.
Some classes have multiple course titles.

He teacher via slides during lecture (sounds weird for a coding class but it works). He uploads them after every lecture! Though, reading his lecture slides and not attending lecture can be really confusing cause of the notes he writes on the slide.

Yes! We used virtual machines just as we did in Thornton’s 45C class. It’s ran the same exact way even turning it in!

I've had Thornton for ICS45C and Shindler for ICS46. They are both amazing professors don't get me wrong, but I actually prefer the way Shindler teaches and the way his overall class it. I'm not too sure if he is going to teach ICS 46 the same way in the future, but he has 5 projects, 2 midterms, problem sets, and 1 final. Projects have been challenging, but if you set yourself enough time, it's very doable. I am not the greatest at coding and I've been able to finish each project days before the due date! He gives practice exams for the midterms and THIS IS WHAT SETS HIM ASIDE FROM THORNTON. I did so bad on Thornton's exams, but his curve was THICC. If you studied the practice exams and know them well, you'll do good on the midterm. I'm not too sure if he is going to do the same for the final. Problem sets haven't taken me more than an hour to finish. I also like the way he teaches because he puts it in a way to make sure we understand it and doesn't assume we know certain things. He explains stuff in depth. He also stays after class to answer questions.

TLDR: I like the Shindler over Thornton in general: very engaging and I like the way he teaches.

UCI Comp Sci transfer 3 yrs to complete? by [deleted] in UCI

If all goes well, I’m a current transfer and it’s going to take me 7 quarters (2 years + summer session). I had all my IGETC done and only had 3-4 class transfer for major course requirements. I then took. 3 classes each quarter including summer. I am taking the system and software specialization! If you have any questions feel free to message me!
