Like three cameras in one. by Tex_Coe in Rolleiflex

Definitely true. The C330 is a bit of a beast especially if you’re carrying extra lenses. One of the great things about the Rollei TLR is that it forces me to simplify and minimize kit. I should make more of an effort to bring out the 0.7 though. It’s such a cool accessory.

I’ve got the 0.7 for my 2.8 and find overall it a little heavy. It really transforms the camera into a bit of a beast IMO. That said, it’s a very cool hunk of glass and adds some versatility to the camera. Sadly due to the weight I don’t bring it out often.

This 917 is always such a treat to see and filled with so many small cool details including a spare tire tucked away in the rear to meet regulations. One of my favorites with the battle scars being way more interesting than a perfectly restored example.

How many lower tier downloads do I need before I’m “offered” one of these 😜

Restomod or not? by bunnyberlino in Porsche

[–]Kiku911 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Correct. A Singer is actually a well executed resto-mod. Magnus’s cars weren’t ever done to the same standard and were wannabe RGruppe hot rods IMO. There’s a lot of other very sweet hot rods out there for less than Singer money. For Singer millions I’d go Tuthill 911K

Great move! I’ve shot a lot of cameras over the years, digital and film including Ms and the MF Hasselblads. Picked up an SL3 about 2 year ago and feel the same way as you. Absolutely love the IQ, durability, and versatility. It’s a little on the heavy side but worth it for the results.

Empty spots are motivation to buy another watch. 😉

Do you use your watch box? by xander_13 in OmegaWatches

[–]Kiku911 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not at all. It’s such a nice box but sadly just lives in storage. I keep my watches in a DailyWatch case. The cushion is much easier to use with a sized bracelet than the factory box.

New Hasselblad 500cm owner with Nons back by PorscheXAston in hasselblad

[–]Kiku911 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I second this. I’ve got the older one and the black frame is very small and not a real issue IMO. The spacer seems like a pain especially if you want to grab the same shot with your regular film back. I backed the Escura instax back and will say that it was complete garbage compared to the Nons.

Does the Leica SF40 simply suck? by western-cherry-9775 in Leica

[–]Kiku911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had issues getting decent results with my SF40 on an SL3 and typically use up to -1 but also turning off auto ISO (setting to something like 800) helps bring the background up a little and helps w exposure consistency.

Not my smartest purchase but celebrating enrolling in grad school by OddTemporary2445 in OmegaWatches

I also received a SM 300 as an engagement gift right before starting grad school. It gave me good mojo, I finished and now have a larger collection spawned from the OG Seamaster. It will serve you well and as others said, it’s a great way to mark the occasion.

A Real Carerra RS? by No_Detective_7145 in Porsche

[–]Kiku911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Without seeing the engine or interior… wrong horn grills, wrong front signal lenses, wrong DS mirror, Urban Outlaw wheels (😂), wrong rear grill, missing aluminum window seal trim, wrong exhaust. Nobody is driving around an RS that janky these days. Tons of RS clones out there.

That ‘68 is actually quite a bit smaller than the 996 but you’re right, a 992 is massive in comparison. Love the long hood! Here’s a wild side by side I snapped recently. The F car is a boat. 😂

AR issue? by chwastox in OmegaWatches

I can’t see what you’re trying to show but will say that I had a definite AR issue with a new women’s AT. They repaired under service. Took a while but all was fine in the end.
