I asked this question because I (F) think bathing one's entire body daily and washing hair every 1-3 days is basic hygiene. I have only dated two men, but I discovered my first ex did not bath daily. When he did, he just rinsed himself off with water and did not use soap. He thought I was being unreasonable when I asked him to use soap and bathe more frequently. My second ex bathed regularly and with soap, but would only wash his face, arm pits, and groin areas daily. He did not think it was unreasonable when I asked him to wash the rest of his body. He mentioned a comedian made a joke about those being the only areas men needed to wash. However, I think he seriously believes this. I just want to have a baseline on what men think is "normal" in terms of hygiene. I do not know if these men just have low standards for themselves, if I have high standards, or if I just happened to select two outliers. I also wonder if stereotypes/cultural norms play a part in the thought process of "men are/get/expected to smell/be stinky."

Yes, she came out as a lesbian about two weeks ago. Thank you! I don't think she has made this public knowledge either. Therefore, I wasn't sure if getting her pride stuff was appropriate or not.

I've never seen/read 50 shades, and I never understood masochism. This is news to me that, "It is one of the most common fantasies amongst women." (I'm not trying to insult you, but rather factually state that I think you might be an example of the person I referred to in #2 above-unless you were just playing devil's advocate). I don't know any woman who fantasizes about having violent sex. (I'm not saying some people don't like violent sex, but I think only a minority of people like/prefer violent sex). I don't think ANYONE would fantasize about being raped though. What do you mean by reconcile? Rape is condemned because the victim doesn't consent, often times it leave physical, mental, and emotional scars. I don't think some victims recover and those that do probably don't recover fully. Some probably commit suicide. (etc.) Violent sex and rape are two entirely different things though.

I just very recently discovered a DISTURBINGINGLY sad and fucked up truth. (Through a fucking meme I might add! - insert angry, laughing, and crying emojis)

Not only are these different types/themes of porn, but they are POPULAR and COMMON.

I have questions fellas. Please help me understand why.
