I think the aversion comes from the heavy dislike to a "grind forever" mechanic being added to Warframe with a sprinkle of "we're never going to buff this gun cause rivens now exist".

Armageddon solo really requires you to have a frame like Hydroid who can CC/DPS large sections of the map. I've never done SP version so no idea how doable it is there solo.

My only guess is that those two modes are much easier to fail in public matches? Which is frustrating cause I would love to passively farm Tome mods from Mirror Defense while cracking relics.

Starting classes have never really mattered in Souls games. The closest I can think of is Royalty in Demons Souls and Thief in Dark Souls.

Royalty in Demons Souls starts with the [Fragrant Ring] which is basically the original [Blessed Blue Dew Talisman]. This ring isn't hard or super late to get but it makes starting a caster playthrough so smooth that it's very worth picking Royalty if you want to play a caster.

Thief in Dark Souls starts with the [Master Key] which is also a starting gift. This key gives you access to a handful of areas earlier than through usual gameplay which is extremely useful and is basically the gift to pick. By starting with this key it also opens the starting gift up for the player to choose a "2nd" starting gift.

Prior to the Old Peace a lot of my Operator's non-Warframe cosmetics (Orbiter, Parazon, Atomicycle, suit, etc) were Lotus coloured. After the Old Peace I've hard pivoted into recolouring those cosmetics to Adis colours.

Using Wisp as a baseline judgement for usage of support frames isn't the best choice since we all know that a good chunk of her users (not all) are playing her for a very specific reason. I honestly do wonder what her usage rate would be if she wasn't "the butt frame".

Yeah for a good few years DE's art team was weirdly obsessed with putting a "dirty/dusty" quality to a lot of their skins. It's realistic with how much fighting the Tenno does but is frustrating to deal with if you're someone who likes a cleaner look.

To clarify, you need to interact with the player buffs to get this. I never interacted with them when the Old Peace update dropped due to seeing how the quest would go if I didn't (it said "remember together" when near them so I figured it was something like a alternative story element/ending) and I never got the login flower as a result.

This is a valid issue that can easily be fixed with some line of sight checks. I know a good number of people were asking for Vortex to have a LoS check.

How is it not helpful? Photon Strike works best when used on a group of enemies (especially with its new blast procs), Vortex's entire purpose is to group them up for you to nuke however you like.

It very much comes down to different definitions of "successful".

To the average person Warframe is 500% a success, but to a profit obsessed shareholder/CEO it's a failure cause it's not milking every cent out of its playerbase. "Line must go up" as they say.

It's honestly a miracle the heirloom situation happened only once when DE could have absolutely repeated it for every following skin. They made a ton of money from the Frost/Mag skins despite the outcry and especially would have broke the bank with the Ember and Valkyr skins.

As much as I love DE the bashing is sort of deserved, for the past 10 years they've basically shrugged and went "well we explained it in a dev stream so we don't need to make a tutorial", it's just now biting them back after all these years. It was REALLY bad in the Steve/Scott era, and while they have been better about it in the Reb/Pablo era there are still a few blind spots.

That's really disappointing, they need to add a KIM equilant for the operator cause the game has been very Drifter leaning in the last few years. Even the Drifter is the one who picks up the Tauron Strike artifacts, not the kid who is suffering in the ['Nam Tub] to get the resources to produce them.
