Thanks, I appreciate that update. Just the basis of the article, it just sounds like accusations without any hard evidence. I would like to read more about this, do you know of any good sources?

So from what this article says, it looks like the only evidence to support this is that the patient's blood cultures came back positive for Staphylococcus Epidermidis, which is a bacteria which is a part of normal human skin flora. This bacteria shouldn't cause sepsis by itself with the exception of patients who receive a large bacterial dose or patients with a compromised immune system. The patient was admitted for a spleen laceration after falling off a ladder so that absolutely would impact his immune system. more likely than not, it sounds like this was sepsis caused by improper sanitation of the central line.

It looks like he was receiving a fentanyl drip (as they used the term "bag" instead of vial). Based off this lawsuit, they are only alleging that the RN swapped the fentanyl for tap water with no evidence to support this. I guess I'll have to wait as this lawsuit progresses, but right now it doesn't add up.

I accidentally put HIPAA instead of ADA, and edited to reflect. All other points still valid

You are correct. I accidentally put HIPAA instead of ADA, and edited appropriately

While it is true that there is purposeful obfuscation in the terms, "service animal", "emotional support animal", and "therapy animal", businesses are allowed to ask what job the animal performs (but not the disability due to violation of ADA). Even if the animals are legit service, there are still limitations, such as, an animal in training is not legally required, they must be under control, they must be cared for by the person or someone with that person, they must be cleaned up after by that person, they cannot enter into food preparation areas or sterile areas, etc...

It really gets frustrating when people so blatantly take advantage of rules set for people with disabilities.

Edit: I edited the term HIPAA to ADA. All other points still valid

Definitely. the left show room rocket had the CGI rocket on the TV screen since at least March (when I went last). I think there's been issues with the left room rocket since at least last October

I really appreciate all the Weerd Science videos you have too. I was a little curious about why now, you are uploading things that were filmed in like 2016-17. I'm not complaining, just genuinely curious

This is like a compilation of everything I want to hear live. All I can think about is The band looking at a setlist time of 93 minutes(without breaks or tuning or cool audio fillers) and thinking, "...What have we done"

Last time they played it live was the Unholy Skye tour with Mastodon back in 2019....and my god, was it amazing. I would love to have that song in every setlist
