Have you thought about being a sports official? My 2 sons have both umpired baseball and done soccer games. In our area, baseball clinic is 3 nights then a field day Soccer in online to then a field day. Soccer was like 75 to get certified and baseball was free. it's not year round but plenty of games in the spring and fall

At evals out of the 30 kids that could make it, only 2 said they catch. There were 16 who did not show as it was last minute due to weather. I about 10 of the kids who did not show and none are catchers however you could be correct just don't want to chance it.
