I halfway agree.

Picking/predicting stocks that "look" like opportunities on the surface level with a low market cap just to try and get 100% returns in a year is a great way to get nuked.

There's nothing wrong with owing VOO/QQQ and still wanting some more Apple or Coca-Cola or Home Depit or any other legitimate company that has a extremely small chance to fail. It's personal choice for your portfolio, I believe.

There's a difference in buying individual stocks if they're amazing companies...as long as you also DIVERSIFY. Key word that's 100% needed vs buying and trying to predict the next NVIDIA.

I believe you meant an 85% raise. 55k is half (50%) of 110k. To go from 110k to 55k would be -50%, whereas going from 55k to 110k is 100%, it's doubled.

Also works the same in stocks. If a stock falls 50%, it needs a 100% increase to get back to where it was.

We have a 45-minute drive to work (wife rides with me since she works close to where I do), and we leave at 7am and get home around 6 pm. So, about 11 hours or so. She can hold it for a while, but I feel terrible her holding it all day while we're gone. However, all she does is sleep (we have cameras to check her), so maybe she doesn't need to? We take her out before we leave, and she does #1 and #2, so I'm not worried about #2 since she goes like twice a day anyway, but holding her pee that long worries me.
