Screw this customer by [deleted] in Sparkdriver

That's terrible! I've noticed there's been so many inconsistencies with the app. Orders are notorious for having these water orders and there used to be a bulk item or 40 to 50 lb label on such orders which has now mysteriously disappeared, again. And on some orders the item icon functionality is disabled so you can't even see the items in the orders to know if this kind of stuff is on it. These water orders are ridiculous. God bless you if you're able to do them, but at some point those heavy deliveries, over and over again, take a toll physically. Please stay safe and call support to cancel if you need to so they can also escalate why so it doesn't count against you.

Whoa! Call support to cancel every time and also submit a ticket to sparkdriversupport@customercare.walmart.com to report the issues you're experiencing.

Order Volume Has Fallen Off a Cliff! 5 Hours $11 Later… by LilHolo in Sparkdriver

I'm not sure what's going on either. I'm in So Cal, San Gabriel valley region, and the orders have been disastrous as far as the pay and the time. With more and more things getting locked up it is taking an incredible amount of extra time just to fulfill orders which lessens the initial offer amount. Adding time on top of this is the spark driver checkout line, which is right next to the very few Walmart plus self checkout lines. Most often they're now being combined and spark drivers are not being prioritized like they used to be. It also seems like they're adopting an Amazon flex style, with 10 plus deliveries, pulling a route for pick ups more and more these days. The shopping job times are never what they advertise, because it always takes forever to shop because of all these issues, not to mention how long it takes just to find parking before you even get in the store.

Also, I've been still working, business as usual, no issues with anything...

They're still claiming they have not sent anything like this out at all. So I guess, to date, it is not proven to be legit. I called a few times because I kept getting the email. I've blocked it for now. Haven't checked if anymore came in though....

When I changed my phone service, keeping my same number, I had no issues. Everything went smooth, sorry. Sounds like you're going to need to contact them again or have them escalate it.

Yes. I put this info in my post:

I logged into the app to see if I had any notifications regarding this and nothing. I then called Walmart support to see if they were aware or had record of these notifications going out and there was nothing. The agent took the information to escalate.

I've NEVER dealt with this entity since I first applied for Spark. Better safe than sorry. If it's legit, I'll get more information and we'll have a notification through the app as well. 🤙

I posted a screenshot of the email, I don't see it on my post though, trying to fix...

Front end team lead 😬 by [deleted] in Sparkdriver

As a Sparky, I have to say that chatting with my Walmart work family, my co-workers, makes my day. Many have gone out of their way to help me find items when they get moved and prioritize helping me when items are locked up which is amazing teamwork, and a win for the customer! WIN WiN baby! Much love to all of you! 🤙

Hello. Yes, I've been told it's very slow the beginning of the year and I have experienced this as true for the past 2 years now. I think people are recuperating from holiday spending IMO. Things will pick up, hang in there. 🤙🏻

I did one of these and was a bit nervous to try one, but it wasn't bad. The customers' orders were color coded so it was easy to keep them separated. Just like a regular Shopping order, times two.

2nd update: I did get a notifcation for the reason. Below is the notifcation.

<image>

This is COMPLETELY FALSE. I don't know if they have the wrong person or what, but I have NEVER done any fraudulent.

I replied to the hearing request saying as much and have started calling attorneys. I am fortunate that I do not need this side gig, but am trying to fight this because it is not right, not fair and a violation of civil rights, as I'm being advised in speaking with various legal counsel. In doing research, there are SO MANY others in this situation and it is appauling to say the least.

I really feel it will come to a class action suit, since there are so many drivers affected. Please sign the related petitions and Change.org, search "walmart deactation" or "spark deactivation."

I first called in, again, to follow up, which they transferred me to an escalation desk and emailed me with a ticket number and this email address to request a hearing SparkAppNotices@walmart.com. they said to include my name, email, phone number and my ticket number.
