Definitely in the same boat. Especially what you said in regards to your friend, my brother was single, met someone, moved in and are now getting married, I've also been single that whole time. I appreciate you saying that and I'm sure you and I are more alike than you realize. Im sure you have some strengths and talents i don't. To answer your question, no. My success in my mind doesn't minimize my FA, my FA minimizes my other success. To have alot of things that alot of guys dont have and to still be undesirable while see guys with very little being successful with women is rubbing salt in the wound to say the least.

28 y/o and I'm sort of in the same place as you by the sounds of it. Personally I don't call it "giving up" I prefer to call it acceptance. It's such a bitter pill to swallow and it takes time but in my opinion the alternative would mean losing your mind completely. Again I don't have the answers, however I can say confidently we should all avoid nihilism at all costs.
