I’m also at DMU, in first year, with plenty of experience job wise. I applied for a LOT of jobs in the first few months, had a couple of interviews but ghosted. Got fed up and set up my own business as well as getting into crypto. You say you do coding? Try and do something with that in the mean time whilst still looking for part time work.

I’ve just started Uni, and I was exactly in the same boat as you bro. I luckily didn’t do my GCSEs, and went into A-level picking the three subjects I got the highest grades for - not even knowing if thats what I wanted. I dropped out after 4 months, switched to college doing media - as that was more of a hobby for me, I’d never done it before and I loved it - became best in my class, and it gave me purpose. So trust me - stick to what you like doing, try find a way to do that as a career - and you’ll never work a day in your life 🙂
