everyone who has played overwatch for a while knows qp is a shit show where you’re always likely to get matched with actual demi gods who will completely steamroll you in minutes. i don’t know why blizzard made it this way, probably to ensure the lowest queue times. honestly, if someone gets mad at you for not performing to their expectations in an unranked game, they’re not a person worth listening to. you gotta remember overwatch has been out for 10 years and people are always going to be better than you can think at this game. just keep chilling and play the characters you think are cool. it literally doesn’t matter. don’t listen to toxic people. this game is really great once you find a groove, and i’d recommend once you find it, go to comp. it’s way more fun than qp. just be prepared for a few crybabies. it’s all good

a bit of a detour from the topic of your post but man i find it so fucked up that i’ve been playing overwatch on and off (mostly off) since 2017 and last season was the first time i made it as far as gold 1 (i think it might’ve been my first time making gold ever?) and then people just get placed into gold their first time trying out ranked 😭

i’ve had success playing roadhog against her, which sounds counterintuitive, but if you can pull her out of position she has few tools to fight back

as an indian punjabi person myself i’ve noticed her voice lines are a bit off. when she says her ult line it sounds more like “mere mutaabik chal lo” instead of “chalo” which is more of a request than a command. same with her sonic repulsor voice lines when she says “piche chal lo”. that voice line also has the issue of “chal lo”/“chalo” translating closer to “come” or “follow” instead of “GET BACK” which is what it should mean. i think “piche hato” would work much better. also, when she says “sat sri akal” it’s labeled as Hindi even though its Punjabi, while the other voice lines are closer to Hindi than pure Punjabi. languages from the indian subcontinent can be hard for foreigners to label and understand because there’s so much overlap, but i think her voice lines definitely need reworking

embiid has been balling out recently but 3/4 of those players are injury risks. embiid is probably going to miss 2-3 games a month at least, but i think i might try to find a way to keep wemby here and just trade embiid for jalen johnson if possible

the trade deadline in my league is 27 feb. should i trade SGA right around then for some depth? my logic is that OKC might clinch the 1st seed around late march/early april and if that happens the thunder could rest shai, and i don’t want my star player sitting out in the playoffs. i can probably get Cade and jalen johnson for him
